Privacy Policy
Moli COO ("the App") helps Shopify merchants run their store by analyzing store data and preparing decisions the merchant can approve. This policy explains what data the App processes, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Products: titles, prices, costs, inventory levels, tags and collections.
- Orders: order totals, dates, line items and quantities.
- Customers: anonymous identifiers, order counts, total spend and last-order dates. The App does not read or store customer names, email addresses, physical addresses or phone numbers.
- Shop settings: shop domain, plan, language and the preferences you set in the App.
Why we collect it
Exclusively to provide the App's functionality: nightly analysis, store health scoring, customer segmentation and generating the decisions you see in the App. Expected-revenue figures are computed with deterministic formulas from this data.
AI processing
To phrase decision explanations, the App may send non-identifying summaries (product titles, aggregate sales figures) to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). No customer personal data is ever sent to AI providers.
Where data lives
Data is hosted on Vercel (application) and Neon (PostgreSQL database), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to what the App needs to operate.
Retention & deletion
- Analysis data covers a rolling window (up to 90 days of orders).
- Undo snapshots are kept for 14 days.
- Uninstalling the App deletes all stored data for your shop automatically.
- You can also wipe analysis data anytime from Settings → Data & Privacy.
GDPR & data requests
The App implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks: customer data requests, customer redaction and shop redaction are honored automatically. Since the App stores no customer PII, customer data requests return aggregate, non-identifying records only.
Data sharing
We never sell data. Data is shared only with the infrastructure processors named above, solely to run the App.
